My career in Estate Agency started a few years ago, I started right at the bottom of the ladder as an Apprentice for an independent estate agents in Blackburn. I started to pick up things rather quickly and soon after I began working for Miller Metcalfe. Prior to working for Miller Metcalfe, I was always impressed with their unique marketing strategies and the variety of properties they sold. I started life at Miller Metcalfe as a Junior Sales & Lettings Negotiator in Horwich and within 12 months, I had received my Level 2 Sale of Residential Property qualification and been promoted to a Sales Negotiator for our Hindley Office. Fast forward another 12 months and I have received my Level 3 Sale of Residential Property qualification and now I'm the valuer for our Farnworth office. Whilst working for Miller Metcalfe, I have come to gain knowledge on several areas in Lancashire/Greater Manchester allowing me to provide trusted advice. I'm Adlington born and bred; I attended St Paul's Primary School, Adlington, Southlands High School, Chorley and Runshaw College, Leyland respectively. I enjoy spending my time out of work at the gym, playing football and being with family and friends.
Q & A
What do you want to achieve in the next 3 years?
I want to be a fully established valuer, maybe with my foot through the door of chartered surveying.
Were you on any sports teams when you were younger?
I used to play football for a few local teams, I only started playing when I was around 12, only wish I started younger.
How do you balance work and social life?
I leave for work just after 8:00am every morning and get home around 6:00pm, I go the gym in the morning before work so I have my evenings free to spend time with family and friends, same with weekends (when I’m not working).
If you could have a cup of tea anywhere in the world, with someone of your choice, where would you go and who with?
Either Eiza Gonzalez or Melissa Fumero and on a remote island in the South Pacific Ocean.
What’s the first thing you do when you get home?
Eat, eat and eat. I’m constantly thinking about food.
Best social media platform in your opinion?
Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat are the main three I use. I don’t care much for Facebook.
What gets you out of bed in the morning?
