1 - Pack all of your belongings in labelled boxes, separating them into 3 piles ( 1, for removers, 2, for you to transport, 3, to throw away)
2 - Pack a suitcase with clothes for your family for the next few days
3 - Make sure you have a bag of toiletries and emergency medication on hand
Ensure all electrical items, lights and taps are switched off before leaving your existing property.
Don't forget! Make sure you exchange contact numbers with your movers and everyone who is helping you move.
Check with your removal company that they have the full, correct address for your new home to prevent any delays.
Have you packed the essentials?
- Cooking Utensils
- Pots & Pans
- Bed Frame
- Duvet & Covers
- Alarm Clock
- Toilet Roll
- First Aid Kit
- Coffee Table
Once you're in your new home, make the beds a priority ready for you to sleep in. Now put the kettle on and relax... everything else can wait until tomorrow!
