Jane is a Chartered Surveyor and RICS Registered Valuer with over 15 years' experience within the property industry. Jane specialises in property valuation and development consultancy and is used to dealing with complex valuations, finance and development projects. Her clients include a range of major lenders, developers, investors and the public sector. Previously Jane worked with King Sturge LLP, an international property consultancy where she was Partner and Head of Development Consultancy in the Manchester office, Nationwide Building Society as a Senior Lending Manager, and as a Development Manager with a regional property investor/developer. Jane completed her graduate training to become a Chartered Surveyor at Lambert Smith Hampton after completing a cognate degree in Land Management. Jane is also a non-executive board member of the RICS North West Regional Board.

John is a Chartered Surveyor and RICs Registered Valuer specialising in commercial agency and property valuation. John is active in the office and industrial markets across the North West. His clients include a range of developers, investors and major lenders. Previously, John has worked for a developer and investor at Charles Topham Group where he assisted the Director in the acquisition, disposal and management of their assets. John completed his graduate training to become a Chartered Surveyor at Miller Metcalfe after completing a Master's in Property Management and development. John also studied a Geography degree at the University of Sheffield.

Adam is a trainee surveyor who is currently with us on a part time basis whilst he studies for a Master's degree in Real Estate and Property Management at the university of Salford. Before working for Miller Metcalfe Adam studied for a Law degree at Sheffield Hallam University and obtained an honours degree.

Vanessa ensures that all administrative functions within the Commercial department run smoothly as well as providing reliable and accurate assistance to the MD, including overseeing production of large valuation reports. Within the Miller Metcalfe group, she undertakes proof-reading and amending of all collateral throughout all departments. Having been an office manager/PA to two MDs in a busy IT company in London with 250 personnel worldwide, Vanessa undertook proof-reading/copy editing of all documentation produced to extremely tight deadlines, including site reports and tenders, often in excess of 200 pages. Collation of information for submission to Internet/Intranet/Extranet sites and marketing collateral distributed to personnel, clients and suppliers. Production of highly confidential material, precis of articles, diary management, organising press briefings, taking minutes at board meetings, liaising with secretaries of other directors and making complex travel arrangements. Vanessa worked on the Express & Echo newspaper in Exeter, where she was Property Editor/ Features Writer. This role involved writing features, sub-editing copy, designing, laying-out and proofing pages for various departments. Vanessa also holds a Chapterhouse Diploma in Editorial Skills (Proof Reading/Copy Editing).
